My Opinion: Capital Punishment

My opinion on capital punishment is that it is stupid and barbaric. What exactly does it show? I'm mean if you kill them it doesn't bring the people they killed back to life does it, nor does it make the death any less painful. I for one hate the shedding of human blood. To kill a murder is showing it is alright to kill for revenge in my opinion. Capital punishment has changed a lot over the years. it has been hanging, shooting squad, and lethal injection. It is stupid.

    I understand what you mean by the family of the victim wanting the death penalty for the murderer just being killed for revenge and it not bringing there loved one back but how would the family deal with the killer living and there family member dieing should it be die/live or die/die like "an eye for an eye and a tooth for a tooth".
