A boy and his dragon must defy a tyrant king and take up the mantle of Dragon Rider.
I love how no matter how hard Eragon's life gets he tries to be kind and keeps going.
The major conflict is Eragon must keep the peace between the free people, while staying out of there control and fighting an evil king.
I think people who like dragons and magic will like this book.
Remember it's a 668 page book.
